Who is this qualification for?

This qualification is designed for learners who wish to work as a steward in the Active Leisure, Learning and Well-being sector. This may include events such as sports, music festivals, concerts, parades or carnivals. It covers how to prepare for events, control entry and exit of customers, identify and deal with crowd problems and respond to emergencies.

How long will it take?

To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 36 hours of learning.

  • helping to manage and resolve conflicts
  • dealing with incidents at spectator events
  • supporting the work of your team and organisation

Assessment Method

This qualification is assessed through a multiple-choice knoweldge exam.

It may be that you are required to register as a training provider within the country itself.
